What stories have you been telling yourself that you are ready to give zero f*cks about?

Human behavior fascinates me. I love how stories connect us to each other, and I love how stories connect us to life. What kind of life are you creating with the stories you tell? A wild, joy-filled adventure? Or are you spinning tales of fear about the condition of our world?

We can stay connected to the Source that fuels our creativity by writing stories that keep us empowered. Or we can take the victim route and complain about what is, staying stuck in our shitty stories… I’ve got one word for the latter: boring!

I thoroughly enjoy watching people’s lives transform when they begin to tell themselves new stories about what is possible. We don’t have to stay stuck. What kind of story do you want to write about how today is going to go?

I woke up with a story about how hard today was going to be because I felt a little headache and my eyes were puffy. Then I started doing the behaviors I knew would allow me to level up to a more energized place. Meditation, breath work, and a heavy dose of lion’s mane.

Another way I like to co-create an amazing day is to choose my self-talk carefully. I tell stories to myself with a game called, “Remember When?” From this lens, we can tell the story of our fruitful day or life as if it’s already occurred, so we can send out a higher-vibration signal. It goes like this… “Remember when I woke up feeling headachy and tired, but then I remembered I didn’t want to waste a single day of this precious life so I powered up with my tools, went out and kicked ass? I was in such a can-do attitude that miracles started to pop up. The perfect new employee walked through the door, issues with construction resolved effortlessly, and my husband found the answer to something that had been plaguing him. It was so uplifting and joyful!”

Looking for what you desire to happen is infinitely more productive than complaining about what has already happened. Give it a try. Let me know how it goes for you!
